I have a TR224 112LSA cam, SLP LT headers, RT cats, and custom exhaust with NO muffler or resonator, this setup is obnoxious loud it drone at around 1500~2000rpm on highway giving me headache and I'm getting a bit sick of it
Basically I'm looking for a bullet muffler just to quiet down a few dB at part throttle, saw Jegs and Summit have some Dynomax Magnum Race Bullet Mufflers for like $35, anybody have them and how do they sound? I need the 3" in/out but they have two different length 12" and 18" version, what's the different? the longer the quieter?? I'd probably have it install before the rear-axle after the y-pipe, would I have any clearance issue with getting access to driveshalf or BMR torque arm?
I'd also saw the Borla bullet muffler but it's too pricey...like $150, anyone else made some bullet mufflers similar to dynomax and borla??
