The QTP looks to be a little bit better material. Search around for a thread about QTP vs McCord. This guy has pics of the two units next to each other.
I myself have seen the differences, but I don't know if the McCord I saw was the first batch or the second, all I know is the QTP is badass.

Re: Electric Cutout Boy did I screw up. The cutout runs 179.00 W/O cutout. The can be contacted at DMHPerformance@aol.com. Cutout is 20.00 extra. Good warranty though!
Re: Electric Cutout I would like to know what kind of cutout controller you have and if it leaks when in closed position and if you have tried anything to stop the leaking when closed or do they all leak when closed..???

Re: Electric Cutout I bought two mccords, one for myself and one for a customer... the screws that hold the plate on became stripped on both power plates and took some working to fix... other than that it seals very well, installation is straight foward and its easy to use with the light that tells you when its closed.
