I have the Borla. IMO, it is the baddest exhaust out there. Granted it isn't cheap, but it is well worth it. I get sooo... many compliments on the sound and the look of it. I like the changable plates. People keep mentioning the plates and sound. What about the plates and flow? Running it wide open is almost like having the cats as mufflers, that's it. I run my Borla wide open all the time because I like it loud! It is a little obnoxious on a long trip, so I take 5 min. and change the plate to full closed. Still sounds bad ***! Piece of cake. Go with the Borla, you can't beat the sound!

I've got the Corsa on my setup. I love em! Added MAC Headers + Y pipe w/ cats on it. My only regret is keeping the cats, I shoulda ditched the cats and went with mac ORY

I've got a few videos of it, where you can hear it. Ofcourse, sounds much better in person..

Everybody and their mother has a borla system. At the free dyno day, I think more than 75% of the people had borla system.

Damn are they loud and sweet sounding. I have a corsa system in my garage waiting for installation, I chose corsa because it is very unique as in hardly anyone has it, the tips are in a league of their own, and I once heard a corsa system with mac mid length headers and DAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! Did it sound awesome. Oh yeah they are GM appoved too

I had an ATR cat back, and replaced it with a Corsa. I have shorties and a SLP y-pipe. On my set up the corsa sounds perfect!!! It IS louder than the ATR system which was very free flowing, and is a strait through muffler design. Power feels the same as the ATR, but the car sounds awesome now!!! Oh yeah, the tips look sweet also!!! There are pics in my sig if you like. Good luck with your ride!!!

The above is spoken by a true ignoramous.. It all depends on your taste in sound. If you like a more refined sound, go with the Corsa. He probably heard it on a stock car.. I have long tubes and a 112 cam, and let me tell you, it sounds AWESOME.. Go to Tbyrne's website, and listen to his.. It is simply badass.

If you want loud and obnoxious, go with the Borla and leave the plates out. Even with them in, you will have the interior resonance... It's your decision.

what it boil's down to friend is that muffler's if you want to call them that like Borla and SLP loud mouth are wide open. now there's a diff between thoe's one's that are close more are less sound mine's sound's more raw and bad ***. on side of other's like Corsa and for god help Flowmaster has no flow.lot's of muffler's are corked like that and dont flow as well... and some just have a lower tone.mainly not because i have a Borla Borla alway's been the house brand BLT most all T/A's and F bodie's have them. now it's your bag what every make's you happy to get.this is can tell you if you want loud go Borla or SLP Loudmouth Borla i have. also the 4 inch Mufflx or what every it's called IMO the 4 inch is a retard and dont give you no more or less HP than a normal catback.......and im not saying it's not nice im sure it's a nice Muffler......

i can tell you this friend if i was you best thing you can do is this go to someone that's haveing a Dyno day and stop and lissen to everybody's muffler and watch the number's jump up not only that just lissen and see what one you are going to be happy with for the money you want to spend... hope this help's Good luck friend

I have the Borla cat-back. I run it with the plate out all of the time. I like the loudness of it. It is a little loud inside on the highway. But it is all in what you like. I can imagine how loud it would be with the Long tubes. I would probbaly cork it up around town. Anyhow, I am proud of my Borla. If you want to turn heads, get the Borla, but if you want to, "have a more refined sound" go with Corsa!

I have the Corsa with Hooker LT's and ORYP. The sound is incredible! I can drive wand sound good without any interior resonance or drone, but when I stomp the pedal it sounds incredible.
My buddy has the Borla with FLP's and runs the ORP, and he is louder- yes, but he also has more interior drone.
They both sound badass, it's just what you want your ride to sound like. If you want all out volume then go with the Borla. If you want a more refined sound, Corsa.
And for those people who say that Corsa doesn't make as much power as the Borla, he and I ran side by side before we did the exhaust and we still run side by side. They are identical.

It sounds good, but I'm hoping for a little deeper sound. Eventually going to remove the cats and see how that sounds. As far as the MAC's, I believe they only make midlengths. I have no idea how much power I gained from them, as I never dyno'd before the install. Also, I installed a vig3000 right after I got the headers on, so I really didn't have time to "feel" the difference. After the stall, I dyno'd 300rwhp/311rwtq. I haven't been back to dyno since ls1edit tuning and MAFT. In the next few weeks I'll be doing some dyno tuning with ls1edit, we'll see what I can come up with!

I have a Borla on 2000 T/A. I love it. It's adjustable, it's 304 stainless steel, it's loud if you want it to be.. I was having trouble making up my mind also, until i heard a Borla on a Z28 next to me one day. I love it.

o please remove the cat's friend best thing you can do for that LS1. only thing is once you remove the cat's give the computer time to learn i belive it took my car about 2 half month's to learn. now i dont trip off any light's anymore.and if you do trip a cod just go to your dealer and have them turned off.
((FIRST THING FIRST))
(((get your FLP's header's))) than pull the cat's off and run the off road pipe's... as far as the plate's i ran them all i can tell you this about them run wide open when you first start. it will be slow off the line a bit i dont like it that way. than try the bigest plate in there (im running that in mine's now).i find the bigest plate give's it just enouif backflow for it. now if you go any smaller you will find it will be great off the line lowend but top end will suck...

i never did try any other plate sence i pulled my cat's off and running my off road's im still running the bigest plate and as far as the cat's lol thay never going back on there... just mess with it and see how you like it you will *deffently*feel the diff in power. one thing i put my 2 $ in is a dam good set of muffler's it took me 4 month's to find out what to get and out of all of them these's are the only one's that sound Kick ***
1 Borla
2 GMMG.INC
3 SLP Loud Mouth
now let's get something stright if you do have a Borla the diff is is we are running (((muffler's))) the other 2 i just named
((are not)) (((thay are hollow))) Borla is hollow also just in it's own way in a diff way that's why thay sound so good rather than a normal muffler like flowmaster,Corsa, turbo Muffler ect. ***rember CHAMBER'S*** will slow you down.....
