i'm gonna be building a 383, and going for about 450rwhp, and want to keep it semi quiet for the sleeper effect. gonna run duals, and probobly cutouts, but they need to flow well for daily driving. anybody have any advice on what mufflers to run?

although this isnt a 383, youll get an idea on what a LTs ory, magnaflow sound like at idle, cruise and WOT, maybe itll help ya with your selection

Go Hooker. When I'm cruising down the HWY @ 70 I can barely hear it. But if you get on it you will know its there. I have had nothing but compliments.

Flowmaster hushpowers? They are suppose to be quiet. Run a resonator before each one that might quiet them down some.
