which stock pulley is the POS?!?!
Like I said, belt seems kind of slack, fans are coming on, no leaking anywhere, but the car's just HOT, like pegged on the gauge hot, but still running just fine?!?!
I would go with a new stock tensioner first, idler second, and a new belt either way. If the bearing is shot than the belt will just pull across the pulley, making alot of noise and tearing up the belt. A bearing that bad should be easily diagnosed by turing the pulley (or idler) by hand.
Could be your water pump is shot too. Again, turning it by hand and listening for the crunching noise and feeling intermittant resistance and slop are dead give aways....
