Default Is SS exhaust 3" mandrel bent cat back ?

Is stock the dual-dual outlet exhaust found on stock 2001 SS's a 3" mandrel bent catback? Also is it the same cat back SLP sells? If it is it's the quietest sounding cat back I ever herd even quieter than my stock T/A exhaust!

Also is the Ws-6 exhaust really any different than stock(ie. diffrent diamater intermediate pipe?)

Default Re: Is SS exhaust 3" mandrel bent cat back ?

The SLP Dual/Dual (whether factory or aftermarket purchased) is a 3" mandrel bent catback. Very quiet, very good flow.

WS6(SS and Firehawk too) has the normal firebird/camaro 2.75" exhaust with a less restrictive muffler.
