Electrical problem Within the past 2 weeks my headlights and interior lights have started "pulsing". It's not noticeable when driving but seems pretty bad when parked, particularly right after I crank it. The interior pulsing is really visible at night.
The pulses are more visible at idle but if I rev the motor, they increase until they're hardly noticeable. If I put my foot on the brake pedal while in park, the pulses don't seem as visible either.
The motor cranks strong and the voltage meter only drops below halfway if I have all the accessories on otherwise it's normal.
It's a '99 A4 with an ASP crank pulley and Optima yellow top. The pulley's been on maybe 25k miles and the Optima's been in a year, maybe 12k miles.
Got any ideas?
