What Mods? I plan on buying some stuff for the car. I just can't figure out what. I am thinking about the SLP y-pipe. How much does it help and is it going to change the sound of my car? Also thought about a Pro 5.0 shifter. Just looking for some help. You can see my current mods in my sig. Trying to stay away from Nitrous and around 300 bucks. Thanks for the input.

Re: What Mods? The Pro 5.0 is a fantastic shifter! I have it in mine and you just can't miss a shift! I would definetly do SFC's and a STB. I was amazed at how well these stiffen up the car. All of these are within your budget. Hope I helped some.

Re: What Mods? Although it is more than $300, 410 gears will make the most noticeable change. I spent $620 labor and all materials, and it is like a different car. Acceleration, crispness, and the transmission ratios seem better suited to 410. Save up, it will be worth the wait.
Re: What Mods? 4.10 gears will make the car pull much,much harder but you better get some nitto drag tires or all you will do is spin like crazy,the 4.10's are a great mod.i also gained 1/10th from lid, 2/10's from a mass air and 1.5 from asp pulleys. goodluck to ya.
Re: What Mods? yes the rear will take it. but, add a pan hard rod,lower control arms,tq arm,and a stronger rear cover. if you stop wheelhop the rear will be ok. usually it's stickey tires that breaks rearends. ow yeah, if you dont want to hurt the car sell it and buy a sissy car that has no power,breaking things can happen when we abuse cars.sometimes it's part of the game. goodluck.
