I think that duals on a T/A should go out the back to fill the bumper, but it's such a pain in the *** to get dual pipes coming out of the back of a Camaro to look good, which is why I chose to dump mine

make sure you are able to take down the system by the use of flanges. if you weld all of it up there, especially the part that goes under the axle, you are going to have to spend more money to weld it all back up there if you chop it off to access anything it is going to block. (i.e. the trans, diff, springs/shocks, putting it on a 4 point lift...if you pipe it out back) if you are not willing to do all this, stick with the borla. they are expensive, so they must be nice.

I use the term real loosely. Technically bullets are real mufflers. However, they don't do very much to actually muffle the sound. Change the sound, yes, lower the volume....not so much.

If you don't want a lot of noise you will probably want high flow cats and a non bullet muffler. Maganaflow makes some that I would pick for that setup....4x9's perhaps?? I forget...

r u gonna do the duals urself or have someone do it, i mean imo it would be better just to take it to a shot cause they will have all the pipes, and u can get them to put on crome tips and get them to run it over the axels....shouldnt be that much bout...300-400 bucks

will 2 2.5" pipes fit over the axel? They have to be run on the passenger side only.. but will 2 pipes fit in that small gap? has anybody done it? if not, and if i go under the axel am i going to have a problem with ground clearance?

heres what im doing tho
im ordering a TSP true dual system (what type of mufflers should i get? sweethunder, bullets, or moroso spiral flows) from texas-performance and im gettin pacesetter ceramic coated headers..
anybody against that?

also for the headers, i still want to be able to run O2 sensors.. should i just get O2 sensor extensions from TP?

I have a borla, with FLP long tubes, so i can change the cats out anytime to race pipes and so on, I have a cut-out in place of the plates, with the cut out wide open and race pipes in, its gonna sound real raspy, kinda like a harley going wot, with the cats in its much more deep, and no rasp. I can tell you that a corsa with off road pipes will be real raspy, and a loudmouth with the off road pipes will be extremely raspy, as well as the borla. I would go with true duals.

Wait until you can get headers. You could get somebody to make duals that fit with the stock manifolds but they would have to be altered in order to match to the headers. In addition, the ready made duals you can buy (like TSPs) are made to match longtubes.

Wait until you can do both at once, and make do with a cutout on your stock exhaust in the meantime. That's how I would do it.

no you do not have to do headers when you get the tru-duals. i have the bassani tru-duals on my black car with stock manifolds and cats. when i finally put headers on, it will be just a minor modification to fit. i buy for the end result. why buy twice???
