Default Intake manifold ?

is the Edelbrock Victor Jr. LS1 EFI Intake Manifold better than the fast intake manifold. a friend of mine told me to save my money and get this one cause it tends to make more power

thanks in advance

I'm not sure what kind of material the edelbrock is made out of, but if it's some kind of metal, aluminum, steel, etc. it will hold heat more than the FAST intake will, and transfer that heat to the incoming air. The composite intakes are very good at letting the heat escape or dissipate or whatever you wanna call it. Just the .02 that I've been taught, hope it helped ya some.

I was told the Victor is good for big-cube motors. If your running H/C type set-up stay with the LS6 or a LSX intake. Good Luck!

The victor has been out for months!!!

I still can't believe there aren't any dyno numbers. Some one step up to the plate and give us a back to back comparison to an LS6 or FAST.

TPI came out with a single plane that kept up with the FAST in the "great intake test"
I'm presuming the Victor Jr. is just as good?! Edelbrock rarely disappoints.

Take a look at this intake test, it doesn't have the JR but something similar.

See how it makes higher PEAK numbers but take a look at the numbers at 3000 and 4000rpm and compare them to the FAST 90/90 setup.

It all depends what you want from your setup, however on the street the highest PEAK numbers don't always mean the fastest.
