Default Dynatech users!!!!!!!!!!!

I talked directly with Dynatech the other day and was told that they have a new epoxy/sealant that is very easy to use, cures once engine is fired, strong as hell and doesn't leak. They had a race team order 60 pairs of collectors and this stuff never failed. Looks like the leaky collector problem just got fixed <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> For the near future you'll probably have to go to them directly but should be availible everywhere soon(part number already assigned)

JS...depends on what they use. Typical problem is thermal breakdown causing it to become brittle. But this does look promising and I'd guess a few year lifecycle

they told me to hold off 2 weeks before it becomes available

IMO dyna's a PITA
But thats just my opinion.

They constantly leaked and screwed up my 02 readings.I lost too much power with the stepped design too and there tubes are way different from tube to tube..For a big motor they work, for a 346 I would run Grots/Hooker

Who knows?
Hope u have better luck than me...

Love the Dynatechs I have. As to the leaking . . .

I fixed that problem once and for all with the weld-on collectors. No issue at all with those. IMO, I do not recommend the slip-on collectors.
