ASP Pulley voltage question
I finally got my ASP underdrive crank pulley installed today and noticed on the way home my voltage dropped dramatically when sitting at a light. I expected this...but didnt think it would drop this low. I have a 1000watt amp with a capacitor also.
It would get as bad as dropping down to the red in the voltage area. How low is too low? Should I be worried about this? Is there anything I can do besides getting an overdrive alternator pulley?
Thanks for the help! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I guess you could try one helluva battery as a replacement. I have about 750w RMS with a capacitor and was thinking about ud pulley. I was under the impression that if you stuck with just the crank pulley youd be ok <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> . Let me know what you find out.

Re: ASP Pulley voltage question
Some owners report this low voltage concern. Seems to be a problem only at low RPM with a Street Driver car and electrical draw-downs such as AC.
I'am looking at ASP pulleys for my Y2K SS myself.
Anyone else with ASP pulleys please chime in!
Thanks for knowledgable replys.
