belt problem

belt problem was checking the fluids last night and noticed that the serp belt had moved a half to 3 quarters of an inch forward on the pulleys!Any ideas what might have caused this? Just a bad tensioner?New

Re: belt problem yeah, check your tensioner. They sometimes get really loose and like to lean out a little. That would in turn make your belt ride on the outside of your pulleys. It needs to corrected soon or you will loose that belt, and any other belt that you put on. Hope this helps.
