Default LS6 Intake Identification

I recently purchased what I thought was an LS6 intake off of ebay. I read in another post that even though an intake may not have the EGR hole, it still may be an LS1 intake. How can I know for sure? What is the port size on the LS6 intake? Is there any other identifiers? Thanks in advance.

Look at the bottom. LS1 on the left and LS6 on the right.

As to the picture, what am I supposed to be looking at? The only difference I see are at the very bottom on the right of the middle section. On the LS1 the intake comes down at sort of an angle with a slight step to it, where as the LS6 is like a square coming it at 90 degrees. Also it seems the pattern in between the ports is slightly different. The LS1 has a criss-cross pattern while the LS6 has a stright line pattern. Am I right on this one? Are those the only differences? The ports look exactly the same, how is the LS6 giving out so much more power?

Ir's difficult to see in that picture, unlees you have seen it in person.

Looking the intake on the left, do you see that writing in yellow marker? Ther is an indentation that runs from the throttle body to the rear. If you look for the shadow, it kinda comes clear. That writing ends in that indentation. It's upside down, but it appears to be the number "79".
There are some coolant/air purge lines that criss-cross between the heads that run undee the intake and they need that clearance.

Looking at the LS6 on the right, it is flat ... no indentation. And that is also why you need different cooling line set up.

The LS6 intake on the right has the flat bottom, this is the easiest identifier.
