Re: Paging users of the Hooker & Borla cat back Without headers and cats in place the borla system sounds great. I loved this set-up on my car till I put on headers and removed the cats. It got a bad rasp sound after those mods. I was able to fix the problem with two dynomax race bullets welded into the Y. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: Paging users of the Hooker & Borla cat back Hi friend i post on this bord a lot. i have a Borla and yes after you take off the cat's you will hear a drown. it's just in the header not the Muffler that's with all muffler's now..... but as far as Borla i love my Borla i would not trade it for the world unless something else came along that sound better. or was better in HP pretty much it's the best thing i every had. and now that i look at it im glade i never spent money on the other muffler's like SLP,GMMG.inc,..... just stay away from ***flowmaster***** and corsa and you will be fine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> do this get your self a set of header's FLP's with the Borla to go with it and you will be fine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

Re: Paging users of the Hooker & Borla cat back I have the Hooker cat-back. IMHO, it is one of the best cat-backs if you are going to go with LTs and ORY. It has a nice throaty sound, and at cruising speed it isn't obnoxiously loud. Without cats you will never get rid of "rasp," but you can minimize it. The Hooker system is top quality, and you can't beat the price with a stick! Besides... the Borla tips look like AZZ!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
