I have been to that site before. The only thing I dont like about it is that I dont know if the cars have headers,y pipes, no cats, etc. Thanks for all your help so far rock. I think I am going to go with random tech cat bac. Any comment? Might put a y pipe on later. How much louder would this make the exhaust?

Ok, maybe I can help you out. Anyways, I had the Rantom Tech, Borla, SLP Loudmouth, & GMMG Chambered Exhaust on my old LS1(cat-back only) and here is what I honestly think:
I was so dissapointed with the Random Tech I immediately had it removed two HOURS after I had it installed. It was way too quiet for me. Barely louder than stock at idle, no louder just cruising around, and it only got loud at WOT. But then again, any aftermarket cat-back will get loud in the higher rpms.
In comparing the Random Tech to the Flowmaster, Flowmaster will definitely be louder at idle and the lower rpms while both systems will be about equally loud at WOT. Flowmaster is a little deeper/more aggressive while the Random Tech will flow better.
If your looking for a noticeably better sounding exhaust than your stock system, just go with a cheap $80 Flowmaster 80 series muffler(with some nice tips) and put an even cheaper $35 cutout on your I-pipe if you want extra peformance(10rwhp) and be LOUD! This way you get the best of both worlds. Sorry, but Hooker, B&B, Dynomax, Magnaflow, Random Tech, etc...are not going to be louder than the Flowmaster on an otherwise stock car. And don't waste your money on a Loudmouth, because it already sounds a lot like a cutout.
Hope that helps,
Mike

GMMG Chambered Exhaust
Well whats a good cat back thats as loud or louder than flowmaster but not abnoxiously loud like slp? I was about to buy random tech but now after this post I am having major second thoughts. I want something kind of like a stang deep mellow tone with the qualities listed above. Suggestions?

Here's your problem. Everything you want or are describing is expensive. The closest sound I've heard(at WOT) to a Mustang on an LS1 is the GMMG Chambered Exhaust. That exhaust is very deep/throaty/aggressive. But...it is loud(although a lot more refined than a LM). It also has NO drone. I'm simply amazed at how tough it makes an LS1 sound on a completely stock car. Borla's are nice. There louder and more aggressive than Flowmaster but not as deep. You can also adjust that exhaust from nearly stock quiet to cutout loud(wide-open). Corsa is also as loud as the Flowmaster but has more of an exotic tone to it IMHO. It sure looks great though. Mufflex(Flowmaster or Spintech) is very, very deep sounding, but I wouldn't recommend it on a stockish car because it uses larger piping in the I. Lastly, you could always do a true dual set-up which would sound wicked(somewhat like a stang). No matter what though, all of these set-ups are very expensive(between $600-$800). If you can be patient, just save up your money and get it right the FIRST time. The decision is yours though.
Here is why I choose the GMMG:
