Badly smashed Corsa??

Badly smashed Corsa?? I'm looking into getting a used Corsa but this one is damaged. The seller took off his bumpstops and the car bottomed out and smashed the over-the-axle-pipe to about half the size. Wouldn't this be a huge restriction? Would it change the sound any? The guy said it didn't.
Corsa's sound fine on a stock car but scream on a H/C car, VERY Racey. I don't want to lose that. Could this part be cut out and replaced? Would it be costly since it is the bent portion?? TIA.

Re: Badly smashed Corsa?? If it has smashed the pipe to 1/2 the size, yes it will affect flow. I would bet you a beer that it will also affect sound a little bit.
Make him a low-ball offer because of the kink and take the smashed pipe to a good exhaust shop that can bend a new section of 3" stainless for you and you'll be good as new.
