Mac ORY pipe quetion Has anyone had any problems with fitment with the mac offroad pipe? One of my friends said they had to heat it up and stretch it to get it to fit <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Also, if there any way I could get the offroad pipe now and then get mac headers later and still have them fit?

Re: Mac ORY pipe quetion The ORY's are designed for 98 and 99 vehicles I believe so if you are going to put them on a newer Z you have to modify them. Your second question, the ORY for the stock manifolds is different than that for the headers so unless you have a good exhaust man I would just wait and get them all at once.
Re: Mac ORY pipe quetion Hey Roy, fancy seeing you here. Yes I had fitment problems with mine. The passenger side tube was about 3" too short and wouldnt mate up to the exhaust manifold. My exhaust man had to cut the pipe in 2 places, reweld a 3" long piece on 1 part, and then other part he had to reweld the pipe so that it would properly angle toward the manifold. Not really too much work, but it sure does give a mean sound. I'm gonna try and get a set of MAC headers early next year and try to find a way to bolt it up to the Y-pipe...I'll letcha know how it goes if you dont already have
headers by then.
