Default Wiring up an Aeromotive inline pump

I'm putting on a nice Aeromotive inline fuel pump. Where is a good place to tap into a positive lead without losing too much voltage?

Is there a good place in the rear of the car to get a consistant 12volts all the time?

Default Re: Wiring up an Aeromotive inline pump

I used the stock wire that goes to the fuel pump to activate a standard 12v automotive relay.

Since my battery is in the rear, it wasn't a problem to get the constant 12v from the battery to feed the switched side of the relay/fuel pump (Aeromotive A1000).

If your battery is still in the front, you can run a fused 10ga. wire from the front all the way back to the relay/pump.
