problem with battery after installing gutted cats! Ok this is how it went. We got the y pipe installed at the local exhaust shop , and turned it on and everything was great. I then drove it for like 3 minutes and turned it off. I came back for my stock pipe and then drove home with no problems yet. Now when i was going to leave my house the car didn't even want to start. The engine doesn't even want to crank or anything. So I get the jumper cables and try to hook it up and I see that the positive conector is like coming out of the battery.I then have everything hooked up and now the engine trys to crank but it doesn't have the good connection. So my question is ...has this happened to anyone else before? And does the fact that I don't have 02 simms have anything to do with it? Thanks

Re: problem with battery after installing gutted cats! You aren't serious are you? Maybe I'm missing what you're really trying to ask. Are you saying the positive side of your battery just backed off and became loose? No biggie then, just tighten it and let it charge back up (or get it charged, then reinstall).

BTW, not having the sims will only cause an annoying SES light.
