Exhaust/ Running Rich Cond.

I gutted my cats and installed them back on my car. My problem is my car started up and idled fine, but when I took it for a ride, it began to run very rough and very rich. I had another set of stock cats and put them back on, since then no problems. Does any one have any input on this subject? Please Help.

Did you use O-2 simms? or program for the removal of the cats?

Yeah I used O2 Sims, but they had no effect on the running cond. Should I have my pcm programmed for the gutted cats?
