Default ported throttle body

Would like to know where to get a ported throttle body that is not going to cost a fortune(i.e. $399 for 80mm BBK). I heard something about an S2 or Shaner. Can anyone help? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> Thanks in advance for the help.

I did a mild porting job on mine for free! I just took my dremel and smoothed out a few little ridge (for lack of a better word). It took me maybe a total of 1.5 hrs. Pretty easy project.

Someday I'm going to get some epoxy and fill in the void area too, but haven't gotten around to it.

I did mine myself too. it is easy and cost effective...there are three items to consider:

1. porting the venturi
2. cutting back the butterfly stop flange so it opens 100% not 90% as from the factory
3. overidding the antifreeze loop that heats incomming air

...all these do not add up to a bunch of increased power ...say 5-10HP at most. This is why it is more cost efective to do it yourself than buy something that is expensive with little power gained......
