Stock 2000 SS Torque?
We all know that the A4 cars lose some HP and Tq compared to a M6 car. Its called "parasitic drive- train loss". I wonder if GM took this into consideration when they rated the 2000 SS at 335 Tq?

As I recall the stock 2000SS was rated at 320hp @ 5200rpm and 345ft-lb @ 4400rpm.
The general agreement is that GM/SLP rated them at 320 HP and 335 Tq at the Flywheel.
Does anyone else have actual Dyno results and/or drag strip times?
Thanks for honest replys

Thanks for knowledgable replys.

It went 13.5's @ 103-105 on a bright sunny 93* day with 89% humidity... track temps were 142*. It probably could've gone 13.2's in cooler weather with lower humidity.
I wish I has those "bone stock" numbers at the top of the thread. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
