question on turndowns....
ihave some small single chamber flowmasters i'm running for a true dual. then i have the turndowns. i remember reading that if you aim the turndowns at each other, it will quiet the car down a bit. is this true? anyone try it? or does it mean that it only reduces inside the cabin sound.

Yes, turning them slightly toward each other quites the exhaust a little, because the exhaust pulses cancel each other out. I have seen this work on a friends car. You don't have to point them directly at each other, just angle them in, instead of out.

Re: question on turndowns....
Definitely angle the turndowns in slightly, I have one chambers with turndowns and the noise was deafening with no turndowns and with the turndowns straight down. I angled them in a bit, better at idle but still loud at Wot <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
