SLP Y-Pipe/sportlines

SLP Y-Pipe/sportlines Does anyone know if the SLP Y-pipe will work after I have the sportline springs installed.I have a new T/A with 16 inch wheels.I've been measuring underneath the car and it looks like I may only have 1.5 inch clearance between the road and the y-pipe when all is done.I don't want to do anything I will regret.The factory y-pipe looks so restrictive I want to replace it if it's practical.

Re: SLP Y-Pipe/sportlines I'd be surprised if you had so little clearance but the SLP Y-pipe does suck for that kind of thing. With a 1/2" drop or so my SLP y-pipe was 4" off the ground. Now, with a 1" drop, and FLP longtubes, my y-pipe is still 4" off the ground. What kind of drop are the sportlines? 2"? That puts you at about ~2.5" clearance. I would be a bit nervous about that. Probably gonna drag it on speedbumps and such.
Also, as a side note, the stock y-pipe is barely any more restrictive than the SLP model. Either buy some headers or leave the stock piece in. I bought the SLP y-pipe and it was a $200 waste. Like, 1hp gain if I was lucky. The factory is fine, put the money towards some Macs or Hookers or something instead.

Re: SLP Y-Pipe/sportlines I have stock springs with the SLP Y and I have at least 5" clearance.I live in New Orleans which has the worst roads in the US and have not smacked my Y.As long as your not radically lowering your car you should be OK.
