Re: SLP Y-Pipe/sportlines
I'd be surprised if you had so little clearance but the SLP Y-pipe does suck for that kind of thing. With a 1/2" drop or so my SLP y-pipe was 4" off the ground. Now, with a 1" drop, and FLP longtubes, my y-pipe is still 4" off the ground. What kind of drop are the sportlines? 2"? That puts you at about ~2.5" clearance. I would be a bit nervous about that. Probably gonna drag it on speedbumps and such.
Also, as a side note, the stock y-pipe is barely any more restrictive than the SLP model. Either buy some headers or leave the stock piece in. I bought the SLP y-pipe and it was a $200 waste. Like, 1hp gain if I was lucky. The factory is fine, put the money towards some Macs or Hookers or something instead.
