Another Ported MAF?

Another Ported MAF? I have Whisper ported MAF ends on my 1998 Z28 A4. Been having some KR during acceleration, and it acts like it's hesitant to shift from 3 to 4. Could this be related to the ported MAF ends? If so, what can correct this problem. I've heard people talk about Ported MAF ends and transmission issues. Want to know if I may be experiencing these symptoms.

Re: Another Ported MAF? Ported or aftermarket MAF ends can reduce line pressure in A4's. I believe the '98 set up is a little more aggressive over my '00 A4 so I'm not sure if this holds true in your case.
Swap your ported ends with some OEM ends and you'll know if that's your problem.
