Cats Hey guys ,
wondering if i can get some help ...I will explain this the best I can so you guys can help me out the best I want to get rid of my cats i currently have some JBA's headers for now , with a borla back cat exhust system in the back is there anything that i can do to remove them without haveing to do alot of welding I live in cali and its hard to find some shaddy exhust guys out here .is there a website i can go to that i can get pipes already made ? i am not to sure of going about this i want to keep my old cats when i smog so anyhelp would be great ,
ps sorry about the dumb question just dont have many ideas about this

Re: Cats Not that I am in any way implying that you should break federally mandated emmisions laws but you do have the option of gutting out your existing cats. Its VERY easy to do just un bolt them take a pry bar or digging bar and knock all of the ceramic stuff inside be careful that stuff is toxic as can be. Or you can go to MACHV.com they sell DSM stuff (eclipses and talons) but they have a cat look alike thats hollow and they are good people...

Re: Cats yes it will make it louder and give you more power. However when emissions testing comes around you'll have to buy new cats to put in. So i think the cat look alike idea would be good, cuz then you'd still have functioning cats when you need to put them back in.
