truth be told I am putting on Hooker LTs and need to know if with my LM exhaust it will be way to loud or what??? The police are really dumb and probably won't care but is it to loud if one got behind me they would care????

Re: truth be told If you are not running cats it will be REALLY loud! If you do have cats it will be loud but not obnoxiously loud. Without cats it will be really raspy around 2200-2600rpm, but at idle its weet and about 3000 its awesome. I can drown out Harleys no problem. Just normal driving and shifting at say 3200 rpm you can hear me about 4 blocks away easily. Now when I am WOT you can hear me for at least 2 miles <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I have Grottyohann full length headers 3 inch y-pipe no cats and Loudmouth. I am going to replace my loudmouth with a dual dual and dual cutouts of my collectors. I would recommend replacing the resonator in the loudmouth with either a Borla XR1 race muffler #40085 $150.00 from Summit Racing or a Dynomax bullet WLK-24222 for $36.00. Either one of those mufflers will eliminate the Raspiness. The Boral will sound better but the dynomax does a good job for the money.

Re: truth be told Without the use of one of the above mentioned bullet muffers there will be A LOT of rasp. It is really loud, not cop friendly, at all! Have you looked into a Corsa? I heard it sounds good with the headers and no cats too. I am going with a SLP dual dual, no x pipe. X-pipes or H-pipes are good for dual exhaust not single. If you wanted to use the Loudmouth, you should add the bullet muffler and maybe a small bullet where your cats would go(off the collectors).

Re: truth be told I have the Hoker LTs & ORY running thru a Corsa. At idle and cruise it is not too loud, very little resonance or rasp - at WOT it is pretty loud. My wife was videoing the runs at Stanton last weekend and didn't pan the camera as I went by. You could easily hear me hit the 2nd - 3rd - 4th shifts all the way down the track. I LOVE it. If the boys were behind me at WOT I think a pull over would happen.
