LS6 intake
Not really answering your question, but I recall reading an article in GM High Performance Magazine about the LS6 intake. The article claimed that when paired with cam and heads the switch was worthwhile, but for the intake alone the gains were negligible, not worth the cost.
i remember someone on here mentioned they gained i think either 24 or 34rwhp from adding an ls6 intake to a cam only car. like he said not really needed for a bolton car but when you start doing internal mods it is worth it.
It would be a good idea to do the intake for several reasons. First, if you do cam/heads it will add power, and you will notice it. Second, it is stronger, and allows for more porting. If you are going to do engine mods, do that one as well.
