LS1 vs LS6

LS1 vs LS6 I now have LS1 intake on a 98 and I was wondering if all I change is the intake to a LS6 what knid of gains will I see?
Has anyone ever done just this to there car and what was the results?

Re: LS1 vs LS6 putting a LS6 on a stock internal LS1 might give you 5hp if that. Generally you wont see the bigger gains from it unless you have cam/heads
every bit helps, but is it worth 399 bucks?

Re: LS1 vs LS6 it was my dads old knickname in school. We just have a faimly type farm operation with around 1300-1500 acres of crop land, cattle and etc. I just took on the name I guess cause of the way i add parts to my car lol <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I grew up on a farm 675 acres mostly commodities.
Helped my dad for 21 years and then he retired from the Biz.
