X pipe with chambered Sweet Thunder mufflers?

X pipe with chambered Sweet Thunder mufflers? What do ya'll think of this setup? Dr. Gas X pipe but with chambered mufflers from www.sweet-thunder.com instead of bullets? Kind of like an X pipe through the GMMG for 1/2 the price. A friend was wondering so I posted this for him. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: X pipe with chambered Sweet Thunder mufflers? I've been thinking about doing this for awhile now. GMMG sounds great, but I think a True Dual with no cats and chambered mufflers would be even deeper and sound better than the GMMG with cats/y-pipe.
The GMMG's mufflers have a clearer tone and better sound than a dynomax bullet(IMO) and should sound very, very good with True Duals. <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

Re: X pipe with chambered Sweet Thunder mufflers? I was thinking about getting some chambered mufflers from www.stainlessworks.net instead of sweet-thunder's mufflers since they look closer to the GMMG ones.
Two 3.5" chambered mufflers with a 3"inlet and 3"outlet with a total length of 24" sounds good with a x-pipe and 3"inch piping.

Hooker LT's, 10" extensions, flowmaster single chamber mufflers dumped. no x or h pipe. sounds INCREDIBLE. normal cruising isn't so bad. you get the same drone you have with any catback. just so amazing of a sound. i wish i could put it up for you all to hear <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

That's too much. I think the sweet thunder muffler is a better choice.

Re: X pipe with chambered Sweet Thunder mufflers? For the money the flowmaster 1 chambers are really nice. no restriction and you get the flowmaster tuned sound but very loud. For my setup(check sig) I have about 800.00 total. from the headers back.
