Installing lid ?

Installing lid ? I am installing my direct air flo lid I just got. Im having trouble getting the slots in on the back of the box. I have the K@N air filter. Is it a must to use the gasket with that filter. I think thats the problem if I took it off I think it would go on. I dont want to take the gasket off if it will allow dirt in. Help fast please. Has anyone else had problems getting their direct flo to fit right.

Re: Installing lid ? This is a common problem with most lids, the first time you need to just work it in slow and yes you should keep the gasket ( you should have gotten a Holley Power Shoot instead ).

Re: Installing lid ? Finally got it in I'm glad it will get easier as time goes by because I have a block off plate I made for my fra when it rains. I normally take it out for the weekends. Thanks for the install uni link.
