TB port/polish help

TB port/polish help I just ported and polished my TB with my trusty dremel and put everything back in. I cleaned the TB very well making sure there wasnt a trace of grease or dust left on it. When I put it back in and starter her up, it was idling near 1500??? Turned it off, started it again, idle was just below and felt weird. Is everything ok? I also did the TB stop mod

Re: TB port/polish help I could be way off base here, but I would imagine it may take a little bit for the computer to re-learn everything.
BTW, when you did the TB bump stop mod did you shorten the accerator cable? Just checking...

Re: TB port/polish help reset the pcm and then start it up with a/c and other electrical loads off and let it idle for about 5 minutes. It should relearn the idle. You should not have any idle issues after a mod like that though. As said before - I hope you didn't grind where the butterfly seats.
