lid, freemods (www.installuniversity.com for more on free mods), cutout or exhaust, and most of all tires if you plan on racing it. a shifter too from what i hear the stock 6spd shifter is crap. those are the basics to get you in the 12's. gears wake up the 6 speeds too. from there you can decide for yourself how far you want to go. im sure with abuse youll need a new clutch soon too. z06 is supposed to be ok for mild cars but a guy i know screwed his on one pass in a bolton car with drag radials. then with a good clutch and tires you might need a new rear. its a vicious cycle <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

410s/bfg drags/lid/ported t.b/pacevv/LTheaders,or bassani ory-pipe with Cutout/o2 sims/ Ramair hood with the bg mod! Thats about 2k in mods. You can do a cam,and change your fuilds. Oh you still have enough for a clucth, and pulley.

You sound so much like me. Just got a 98 TA, and it didn't have enough power. Well I didn't have the money right away for mods. Anyways, do the freemods, if you are a good stick driver, you are already ahead of a WS6. Next, lid and MAF. Next depending on what wheels you have and if you like them, new wheels and tires. I recommend the WS6 wheels and the BFGoodrich GEForce KDs or Nitto drag radials. The GEFores are amazing. Next, Full exhaust system, and finally cam/heads. With this setup, if you are a good stick driver, and if you have the shorter throw shifter, you will be in the 11s smokin vipers.

It looks like you have a little bit of money there and can do some nice little bolt-ons. Having a M6 the first thing you ought to get is a decent shifter like the Pro 5.0 or B&M and the all important skip shift eliminator. An airlid and ported t.b. are also great bang for the buck items. A set of drag radials, MAC or Hooker headers with an off road pipe, rear LCA's and good cat-back system. If you want to save a few hundred bucks you could just run thru a cut-out and use that money for a set of skinnies. Gears are great for lowering your ET, but these F-body gears don't put up with abuse too well. Then again you could spend most of that 3k on a nice Moser rear end and some slicks and skinnies, but just be prepared to spend some money on a good clutch set up.
