Default Spark Plug Wires Problem

I am having a problem with my spark plug wires coming off. I installed SLP headers over a year ago and ever since then my spark plug wires have slipped off or at least loosened at random times. One time, one spark plug wire came off and was sitting on the header. I have taken all of the wires off and put them back on and made sure they were on there tight. I made sure they clicked when i put them on so i know they were on all the way. I cannot figure out what is making them come off. I thought it might have something to do with the fact that i had to loosen the engine mount bolts and jack the engine up when i installed the headers, but i am pretty sure i tightened them back appropriately. Maybe the engine is shaking or vibrating more than normal. Any suggestions of what i should do would be helpful.
Thanks, Jimmy

I had this same exact problem, I changed the plugs and changed the wires, and it is perfect now. Try new plugs and wires.

Does anybody know a good brand of spark plug wires for replacement? I heard if you got a thicker wire than stock, then you could get a better spark and increase HP. I also am looking for spark plugs. I hear NGK TR55 are good ones, but any suggestions would help.
Thanks, Jimmy

No problems at all and they look good too. As for the plugs I would run the NGK TR55's unless your running nitrous then you have to run a colder plug like the TR6's.

Are you running Taylor wires by any chance? While researching for recommended wires and plugs, I was given a heads up that Taylors seal really really well, but the problem lies therein. The air between the wire and plug top expands and blows the wires off the plug, can you believe it. Obviously this was rectified by putting pin holes in the boot. FFT.
