QTP and Lowered cars

I have a friend with the older non hvmc qtps they fit right on plenty of room everywhere, up near the plug wires and down near the k-member or steering shaft perfect everywhere.
these hvmc's are totally different for some reason. the passengers side is not even on par with their regular ones. I had to grind the k-member down quite a bit because cylinder 2 primary was all the k-member. and the plug wire on cylinder 2 is really touch, i have to slant the wire and bend it to put it on, not impressed at all.
so even if someone says my car tolerances are off for the k-member clearancing problem, I dont think the spark wire clearance is fault at all, since most people buy headers to fit right on and when you cant even put stock wires back on there is a slight problem i think with that.
my drivers side is perfect couldnt fit or look better. the plug wires all have clearance, steering shaft cleared fine, no k-member problems; dont know why the passengers side couldnt do the same, makes no sense to me.
