Open Headers... good or bad? Will I gain or lose power if I run open headers? This is kinda tied to the old backpressure question. I have always thought that all backpressure was bad and that "if" I lost low end torque I would make up for it with top end horsepower. Is this true? Thanks in advance.

Re: Open Headers... good or bad? From what I've been reading it is ok to run open headers if you have extensions off of the collectors. I believe that if you run directly off the collector you will lose power, but maybe someone else will know a little more about this.

Re: Open Headers... good or bad? Program stayed the same, air/fuel was pretty much on.
Current mods are Heads/Cam/Bolt ons/12bolt , only thing that was changed was the exhaust.
