ATR Catback Anyone?

ATR Catback Anyone? Does anyone have any feedback on the ATR Catback system on an LS1- specifically the sound? I had one on a GN and it was fantastic looking, and sounded great. I know everyone will try to suggest a hooker system, but I like that the ATR is 304 SS and can be polished.

Re: ATR Catback Anyone? Got one on my 99Z. I love the sound especially with the Hooker Headers. Got mine about 3 years ago for ~450 in stainless. I would recommend it especially if you have already had one on another car.

Re: ATR Catback Anyone? I just replaced my ATR with a Corsa. The ATR has a strait through flow muffler, so it flows very well. My dyno #'s in my sig were made through the ATR. The sound is aggressive, but raw in tone. I didn't like the tail pipes on the system, one side had a slight bend while the other side was strait. This alone drove me nuts!!! I also didn't like how it fit, it made a lot of noise (banging) over bumps. I'm very pleased with the corsa look and sound, It sounds perfect IMO. The Corsa is a little louder and cleaner. I have JBA shorties and an SLP Y-pipe, so my car is louder than stock. Overall the ATR is a great flowing exhaust, but for me I wanted a finished look in the back, and a little better sound. Good luck with whatever system you choose!!!

Re: ATR Catback Anyone? I have the ATR on my car and the fitment took a little while to get it perfect. I kind of polished the tips myself because they come dull, also there is no drone which is the reason I bought this catback since my kids drive in the back. I had everything tack welded when I was done so there is no movement or rattles on mine. Hope this helps.
