headers and cats I have an 02 hawk with slp y-pipe and factory dual dual. I was looking for headers that will add alot of power and also require as little modification as possible, also will i need hi-flo cats? please reply with some insight. Thanks
Re: headers and cats if you want alot of power, then you want some LT's. there are many brands out there: FLP, SLP, Hooker, TTS, Dynatech.... and others too. If you get LT's you will have to get rid of the slp ypipe because the headers wont fit the ypipe. You can get high flow cats if you want your car to be emissions legal, or you can get an ORP and completely remove the cats.

Now for the answer, yes, some LT's come with Y, like FLP's but you pay , A LOT. Hookers, nope. You'll see as you go shopping around, some sell them with ORP and some with cats. What kind of performance are you looking for should be the main factor, use of the car, sound desired, then of course $$$($) and emissions restricitions.
