2000 Firehawk Dyno
2000 Firehawk Dyno Well I was able to get up to the dyno today and give her a shot. I was pleased with my numbers. I know they aren't spectacular or anything, but I don't think they are shabby. I also know dyno numbers really mean jack, its all about track performance - but I'll be working on that on Sunday at the GAFBA Shootout <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Anyway here are the numbers - 320.9hp and 332.6 ft-lbs.
I was pleased with this, but a little disapointed because the car on the dyno before me was a GMMG Hot Rod Camaro w/ the 435 package. He put down over 400hp so my little 320 wasn't exactly spectacular - good thing he left before I got the numbers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> By the way - you were right 320 on the nose - nice guess.
The car is a 2000 Firehawk, SLP lid, holley powershot filter, smooth bellows, GMMG exhaust (with no tips at the moment - those go on tonight). Everything else is stock, including the LS1 intake <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Re: 2000 Firehawk Dyno I've got some long tubes sitting in the garage at home so those will bump it up just a bit hopefully, plus I'll be getting LS1edit so I can tune it and delete the EGR. The power from the LTs will be nice, but I want the sound - the hot rod car made me want to jump in the car and drive the 700 miles home to get the headers and put them on that second.
One day I'll be at that 400+ mark - hopefully this summer after the car goes out of waranty - then the fun begins. GTP stage 2 heads with a nice cam hopefully.
