Should I kill my cats? I've been thinking about replacing the Grot y-pipe with a custom pipe and no cats. Car is cammed and no headwork. I'm sure I'd gain some top end hp but I'm concerned about losing on the low end. My muffler surgeon, who would do the work, claims he lost low end power when he removed the cats from his Grand National. Does anyone have any dyno results that would answer this question? Thanks for any help.

Re: Should I kill my cats? In my case i didnt lose i gained,iam loseing more traction. Iam pissed i cant get traction,i cant just lay into it without spining to much and bogging it.
