#8 Plug

Did anybody else have to remove the passenger cat to get to the #8 plug from underneath a 2k1 Z28?

Its easier to remove the coilpack assembly, at which point you will be able to remove the #8 plug.

i changed the #8 plug form the bpttom of the car, you do not have to remove the cat, just make sure that the car is cool before you do this. i think that it is easier form the bottom since you dont have to remove the coil packs.

I tried to remove it with the cat on, but i couldnt get my hand and arm in there...maybe i was taking it from the wrong angle...so i took it off and it was very reachable

hey man what ever works, cat off, coil pack off, or just reaching around. i made my plug change easy by removing the manifolds, and replacig the plugs then putting headers on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
