options for clogged cats ?? my buddy just got this ory http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...71c0f6f2d026d9 after he put it on, his car sounded nasty and he lost some power..would that be from having no cats? or getting a crappy y pipe.?.reason being is that i think my cats are clogged...so would it be better to buy new ones?, hollow them out?, or get a diff. ory?
nah, you gain some after removing the cats.
not the y either...its a good y.
Depends...I would not mess with the Y until you get LT's. There are very little gains to be had with just swapping out the Y pipe. So if you are planning on keeping the stock manifolds hollow the cats out...I do believe that GM has a warrenty on them as well. You may want to look into that cause they will swap them for free.
