AAHH! fule pump driving me nuts!

AAHH! fule pump driving me nuts! some one please tell me whats wrong?
my car now idles at 50 psi of fule pressure and any time i touch the throtle it dropps to 30~40 psi? it also does not build pressure when the key is turned to the "on" position unless i cycle it a few times.
i had this problem for a while and here is what i did to try and aliveiate it:
changed the fule filter
changed the stok fule pump to a walbro 255 unit.
installed an adjustable fule regulator.
some one please help me out cause it's driving me nuts!
