I have had problems in the w/ pinging...partly due to the octane level of the gas I was using. I have now started using higher octane gas, but 92 is the best I can find w/o driving to another town. My question is, does anyone use an octane booster per gas tank to help w/ the level of octane and prevent pinging. Are they bad for your fuel system?? If so, which one do you use?? Please Advise!

Running too lean is a problem that sometimes occurs with the use of a lid and an aftermarket MAG - both of which you have. I used to have severe detonation problems with my old stock block from those mods.
I would suggest not to use octane boosters... unless you like changing plugs and having a red tint on your plugs when you do change them...
If you're car's stock you should have no problem running off of 92 octane... I run 93 octane with that democrat instigated , tree hugger supported, George Ryan corrupted (vote Jim Ryan not BagBoyABitch ), illinois, stupid reformulated gas....
