HELP New MAF = Service Engine Soon

HELP New MAF = Service Engine Soon I just bought a new ZO6 Conversion MAF for my 99 TA WS6 M6. I installed my new lid, MAF and K&N filter at the same time. After I installed it, I started her up and all seemed good. Then I got my SES light immediatly after I started the car for the second time. <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> Do I need to reset the CPU so it can learn the new maf or did I get a bad MAF?? Also I reinstalled the factory MAF, reset the CPU and I have not recieved any Service Engine Soon light since.

Re: HELP New MAF = Service Engine Soon had same problem and sent mine back to slp try resetting the comp by pulling both fuses under hood. then make your choice to send back. this really pisses me off when you have to pay to get another one sent. try resetting before you waste your shipping fee

Re: HELP New MAF = Service Engine Soon THE MAF IS FROM LS1 SPEED SO I KNOW ITS THE REAL THING. I MAY HAVE JUST RECIEVED A DEFECTIVE ONE. I AM TRYING TO RESET THE CPU NOW. MAYBE THIS WILL WORK. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />
