Default ? for loudmouth owners

how loud is it? j/k. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> for those of you that installed the loudmouth using the stock clamps, has anyone had any trouble with the driver's side tailpipe moving? mine has moved since i put it on last week. i'm afraid to tighten the uni-bolt clamp any more for fear of crushing the pipe. i bought a 2.5" s.s. band clamp today, and even after tightening the bolts to 70 ft/lbs, the
tailpipe still moves freely. more than before. if it weren't for the hanger, the tip would hit the ground! any ideas on a better clamp? i don't want to weld it.

Just get that bad boy tac welded and it'll stop moving for good. Mine is held together with the clamp and a few tac welds and it does just fine.

Well, tac welding it is great to get rid of the problem. If you don't want to do that though, I had the same problem and used a couple heavy duty plastic tie wraps where the driver side hanger is. Made sure they were tight and now it doesn't wiggle anymore like it used to. I wouldn't have the fondest I idea why yours was almost hitting the ground? I probably would need to see your car.

I'm happy w/ my loudmouth!!

I had a similar problem with my driver's-side tailpipe. I just tightened it really tight, and it didn't crush the pipe. Also, the passenger-side exhaust tip wasn't quite tight enough due to its shape (where it slips on the tailpipe), so a couple of smacks with the old hammer fixed that nicely. I have to agree with 02SilverWS6, I'm happy with my LM as well!

I had the exact same problem with my drivers side tailpipe. It happened about a week after I out the LM on. All I had to do was tighten the crap outta the clamp. It didn't bend or crush the pipe, and it definately doesn't move at all now.
