Which headers do you think are better? I am stuck between which ones to order. I have an 02 hawk.

I like my FLP's but unless your car is lowered the SLP's should be fine too. The SLP's hang down lower.

I'd take the FLPs over the SLPs. I don't have either but there are definately some benefits in my mind. They have the exchangable cats, which is good if you need to use cats. Plus you'll be scrapign the ground a lot with a lowered car and SLPs. They will both probably run you about the same amount of $$$

Both Great headers from what I have read. SLP has two strikes PITA to install and hang low.

I would and did go with SLPs because of all the fitment issues the FLPs have been having. My car is not lowered, so that wasn't an issue. Personally I wouldn't like it if I had to "massage" my $1200 part with a pry bar. You could also look at hookers for clearance, or even QTP - formerly Grotts. I don't know how far the QTPs hang down though, but he is making a sweet looking ypipe.

Just my opinion, but do what you will and enjoy.

The quality of SLP his higher than that of
FLP. Dont let anyone tell you they are harder
to put on.. All long tube headers are the
same difficulty to get on , the trick is ;
some have a lift , some do not.. I did my
install at home.. no lift.. If you need your
car back today.. then I would not get started
on headers give yourself a weekend and enjoy
the process.
SLP is my choice.

I tried finding some similar info out by reading posts, complaints, and talking to people... in the end it seemed that for as many people as I found w/bad comments about FLP or SLP there were people with good comments...

I ended up getting FLPs (sitting in my bedroom until I buildup my motor this winter) since FLP is local and they had a sale going on earlier this month

As said before SLP's really hang lower.I bought FLP's and love them.There was no fitment problems and they do not bang the floor.Either one you go with take your time on the install.People rush it and thats why they complane about fitment issues.Leave the header bolts loose while installing the Y-pipe,clearence,then tighten everything up
