Re: need help asap I think you need to gently push from the inside of the old lid and twist and pull from the outside gently at the same time. I have a '99 and also did the SLP lid, this piece isn't too difficult to do. Make sure you get the tabs on the back of the lid fully in when you get to that piece of it. You'll enjoy it when your done, it's a nice little pickup in power!

need help asap I am trying to install the slp lid on my camaro. How do you get the part that the IAT sensor plugs into out of the stock unit so i can put it on the slp lid. I cant figure this out and the instructions just say to remove it.
