Another X-Pipe Question
Can i install an X-Pipe with the Loudmouth?
When you guys install your x-pipes, what type of setups are you doing? Bullets, thunder chambers...etc?
Do you have to extend the piping over the axle to make dual tips? How does an x-pipe work?
Will it be comparible to the Loudmouth?
Where do i get an x-pipe?
any input with be appreciated...
I know there are lots of x-pipe questions out there, but decided to post my own.
Can i install an X-Pipe with the Loudmouth?
*** No. The xpipe has two inlets and two outlets. Loudmouth works with the one outlet from a ypipe.
When you guys install your x-pipes, what type of setups are you doing? Bullets, thunder chambers...etc?
*** Mufflers of your choice or no muffler at all.
Do you have to extend the piping over the axle to make dual tips?
*** You can dump under the car or out the sides. I have seen a pic where a guy ran two 2.5" pipes over the axle on pasenger side. Mine goes under the axle. It's your choice.
How does an x-pipe work?
*** You can read all about the Xpipe at http://drgas.com - Type this in from your browser and it should work.
Will it be comparible to the Loudmouth?
*** Depending on what muffler you use, it could be as loud or quieter.
Where do i get an x-pipe?
*** The actual X piece can be bought from DrGas or can be made by a good muffler mechanic, but the rest of the piping will have to be custom fabricated.
